This tutorial was written using PSP version 7.02 but should work with other versions.
It uses Selections which you can download HERE.
I'm assuming you have basic knowledge of the tools in PSP
and the use of the layer palette and pattern fills.
Included in the zip is a color guide and the gold pattern I used.
Just use your dropper tool to select the colors.
Or chose your own!
I'm afraid I can't recall where I got the pattern from,
if it's yours let me know so I can give credit!
Let's get started!

Open a new image size 500x600, transparent background.


~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Add a new layer named wing.
Load wing selection.
Flood fill with gold pattern.
Selections...Modify...Contract...by 5.
Flood fill with color #1.
Selections...Invert.
Apply a drop shadow with these settings:
vertical & horizontal: 1
opacity: 100
blur: 5
color: #5 (black)
With your selection still the same, apply another drop shadow:
vertical & horizontal: 0
opacity: 100
blur: 35
color: #3


Deselect.


~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Add a new layer named wing2.
Load wing2 selection.
Finish the same as the first wing.

Deselect

Add a new layer named antenae.
Load ant selection.
Flood fill with gold pattern.
Selections...Float.
Apply a cutout with these settings:
vertical & horizontal: 1
opacity: 100
blur: 2
shadow color: #5 (black)
fill color: UNCHECKED

Deselect

Add a new layer named body1.
Load body1 selection.
Flood fill with gold pattern.
Selections...Modify...Contract...by 5.
Flood fill with color #1.
Selections...Invert.
Apply a drop shadow with these settings:
vertical & horizontal: 0
opacity: 100
blur: 25
color: #3

Deselect

REPEAT THESE STEPS FOR BODY2, BODY3, BODY4, AND BODY5.

Add a new layer named left eye.
Load leye selection.
Flood fill with color #4 (white).

Deselect.

ON THE SAME LAYER
Load lpupil selection.
Flood fill with color #5 (black)
Deselect.

Apply a drop shadow with the following settings:
vertical & horizontal: -1 (negative one)
opacity: 50
blur: 3
color: #5 (black)


~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Add a new layer named right eye.
Load reye selection.
Flood fill with color #4 (white).

Deselect.

ON THE SAME LAYER
Load rpupil selection.
Flood fill with color #5 (black)
Deselect.

Apply a drop shadow with the following settings:
vertical & horizontal: -1 (negative one)
opacity: 50
blur: 3
color: #5 (black)

Add a new layer named mouth.
Load mouth selection.
Flood fill with color #5 (black).

Deselect.


~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Add a new layer named cheeks.
Load cheeks selection.
Flood fill with color #3.

Deselect.


~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Add a new layer named nose.
Load nose selection.
Flood fill with color #2.
Apply the following inner bevel:



Deselect.
Effects...Blur...Gaussian Blur...Radius: 1


~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Add a new layer named heart1.
Load heart1 selection.
Apply a cutout with the following settings:

vertical & horizontal: 1
opacity: 100
blur: 5
shadow color: #3
fill color: UNCHECKED

Now apply a drop shadow with the following settings:
vertical & horizontal: 1
opacity: 100
blur: 2
color: #4 (white)
Deselect

REPEAT THESE STEPS FOR HEART2, HEART3, AND HEART4.


~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Add a new layer named wing heart1.
Load wheart1 selection.
Flood fill with gold pattern.
Selections...Float.
Apply a cutout with the following settings:

vertical & horizontal: 1
opacity: 75
blur: 5
shadow color: #5 (black)
fill color: UNCHECKED

Now apply a drop shadow with the following settings:
vertical & horizontal: 1
opacity: 100
blur: 2
color: #4 (white)

Deselect

REPEAT THESE STEPS FOR WHEART2, WHEART3, AND WHEART4.


Now you can merge your layers and export as a tube!

You can make what you want with your result but please do not try to make money with it!
