![]() This tutorial was written using PSP version 7.02 but should work with other versions. It uses Selections which you can download HERE. I'm assuming you have basic knowledge of the tools in PSP and the use of the layer palette. Included in the zip is a color guide. Just use your dropper tool to select the colors. Or chose your own! Let's get started! Open a new image size 350x450, transparent background. Add a new layer named body. Load body selection. Flood fill with #78544C or cookie color of your choice. Next I applied a texture. Apply a texture of your choice. Selections...Invert. Apply a drop shadow with the following settings: Vertical & Horizontal: 0 Opacity: 100 Blur: 35 Color: #4F3629 Deselect. Add a new layer named piping. Load the BODY SELECTION AGAIN. Selections...Modify...Contract....5. Flood fill with #F8E2D6 or piping color of your choice. Now contract your selection again... Selections...Modify...Contract....5. Hit the delete key on your keyboard. Apply an Inner Bevel: Soft Hump preset. Apply same Inner Bevel again. Add a new layer named eyes. Load eye selection. Flood fill with black. Apply an Inner Bevel, Round preset. Deselect. Load eye2 selection on the same layer. Apply the same Inner Bevel. Deselect. Add a new layer named nose. Load nose selection. Flood fill with #78544C. Apply the following Inner Bevel: ![]() Now apply the following drop shadow: ![]() Deselct. Go to Effects...Blur...Soften. Add a new layer named mouth. Load mouth selection. Flood fill with #F8E2D6. Now load mouth2 selection. Flood fill with the same color. Deselect. Add a new layer named bow. Load bow selection. Flood fill with #800000 or color of your choice. Apply an Inner Bevel with the Soft Hump Preset. Deselect. Now you can merge your layers and export as a tube! You can make what you want with your result but please do not try to make money with it!
